Mac OS X Support Information

Mac OS X is part of Apple's advanced, next generation family of operating systems for Macintosh computers. It includes a totally new user interface called Aqua, robust 2D and 3D graphics support, advanced networking support, full support for multiple processors, multitasking and multithreading, and crash protection (protected memory). Mac OS X is built on a BSD UNIX core, making it one of the most powerful, flexible, and reliable operating systems available. It runs a host of new Mac OS X native applications, as well as almost all existing Mac OS applications.

Below, you will find a collection of Mac OS X resources. It is always being updated and expanded; check back often! If you have any comments or suggestions, mail apple-server-feedback@doit.wisc.edu.
